I'm trying your recipe for the black eyed peas. Instead of diced tomatoes, onions, and celery I used Rotel. I hope it turns out well. It smells delicious.

They were a hit. Everyone enjoyed them but it was a bit spicy. Next time I will use regular sausage instead of the hot.

I like it on the spicy side.....We will try the Rotel way next time.....the Rotel added spice as welll...

I am stuffed...Way too much food over the holidays....

It's really good! Just finished eating some of it myself:D
I might have to go back & get more... better fill myself with good food before it's back to school food tomorrow!:(
