Please tell me your kidding..he had the perfect chance with the team this year..a weak NFC and he still could not get the Cardinals into contention. The Cards underachieved and that points to the coaches.

the owner will try to find (good luck) someone who can win with vick

they have all this money tied up in vick

Or maybe if the coached would not have tried to force Vick into an offense not suited to his abilities. The West Coast Offense just is not his strong point.

Vick is not a timing route QB..not all are...His strong point is not three steps and throw a 6 yard slant..His strength is 7 step drops survey the field and either run or hit the big pass plays...He is better at 10+ yard routes than shorter routes...So why put him in an offense that is built on the short routes?

He is a newer version of Fran Tarkenton who BTW only completed 57% of his passes in his Pro tenure...but he was a big play QB, not a system QB, just like Vick is. Not all QBs are built to be game managers..some are meant to be game breakers..so why handcuff him? Yes he will make mistakes, but he will make plays as well.

Todays NFL QB is so boring, It use to be a position of playmakers like Fran, Staubach, Stabler, Bradshaw, Farve and those type..they would some time throw the bad INT..Fran only had three years where he threw less than 10 int...But they were allowed to create...Now Qbs are asked to not make mistakes, limit the playmaking shorten the game and all that crap.

bradshaw won when he quit running and had a great D

You act like Vick has not be a winner in the pros..He took the Falcons to the NFC champ game and still has a record of something like 36-20 as an NFL QB..IMO it shows he can do something right

Just my opinion but I don't think Vick is the answer either. Is he an exceptional athlete? Yes! He's just not an NFL QB. Someone said give him a seven step drop and let him survey the D. He doesn't have that much patience, he wants to run. Now, his receivers haven't helped him either! Lots of drops by them.
The Westcoast Offense should be perfect for him, but you have to study alot too. I think that's one of his biggest problems!

Please show me where I said it was because he "looked" good..My whole point is I will take a QB that wins games throwing 2 TD and 2 int in a game over a "game manager" that might throw 2 TDs in 4 games total.....Vick has led the Falcons to the brink of the SB, to me that shows he has the ability...He was won more games than lost by a wide margin.

Mora was not just let go because he did not win...He also was let go for other reasons such as the radio interview fiasco.
