Someone who hasn't kept up with the NFL tuning into this game would think the Lions are the ones headed to the playoffs and the Cowboys fighting for the # 1 draft pick.

I know that losing Greg Ellis hurt(killed) the Pokes pass rush but that offensive line the last few weeks is nothing but offensive.

I am of the opinion that this particular Cowboys team is lazy and plays hard only when they think it matters. They just won't get up for a game that they think doesn't count a bunch. I haven't seen Roy Williams really "blast" anybody in several weeks. I hope they know they had better "bring it" starting next week. Even if they play their best, I think they are going to have to fight hard to go very deep in the playoffs. Even so,---Go Cowboys!

i'm of the opinion that they possess one of the worst fronts on both offense and defense. oh there's a holding penalty!

You have not seen Roy Williams blast anyone because they have had him playing 10 yards off the ball, they have taken him out of his strength.

I disagree about the Cowboys being lasy and not getting up for bad teams..They have beat up on bad teams all year..there problem is the big games they seem to lay an egg

TXb...I didn't say they didn't get up for only the bad teams, I said only when they thought the game really "mattered". Their best win of the year was against Indy---and they were really fired up for that one, you could tell the difference in their efforts. The only reason the offensive and defensive fronts look bad is because several of those guys refuse to play hard all of the time. That was supported by many players making "veiled" references to half-efforts by teamates this past week. The Cowboys can win when they are inspired.

:08 left--why wouldn't you take a chance on the interference call and hit the receiver? Worst case---Detroit gets the ball at the 1 with :02 left, and one crack at the endzone.

ok besides the Indy game what other big game have they looked ready or played well? IMO this team beats up on the bad teams and cant beat the good teams. IMO They dont play well at all in the games that mattered, and in the last two games that mattered they were dominated.

The Cowboys had the playoffs made and knew it, and it has showed in their play. I think they will play well next week against Seattle or maybe the Giants.

This team has no heart. I swear I wish they would either lose 12 games a year and load up on top 10 draft picks or go win the superbowl. but no year in year out they win 9 or 10 games, maybe make the playoffs. make a consistent 1st round exit like they will this year. finish with a 10-6 or 9-7 record and then get stuck with a late 1st round pick. something has to change. if there was an award for a " Almost there" team. the cowboys would win it hands down.

Only difference is that the Texans players will be enjoying themselves out on the Golf course while the Cowboys are getting humiliated in cold, rainy Seattle.

Answer this honestly. Are you REALLY excited about the Cowboys prospects in the playoffs? Considering what has transpired the past few weeks. Dallas is not exactly entering the playoffs on a roll. The only positive for Dallas is that they play in the NFC, where NO team acts like they want to take charge.

answer this honestly. are you REALLY excited about the texans future? of course i am....they won 6 games this year compared to 2 last season....

this taylor kid can really run well ......(i believe carr is coming into his own...).
the defense played extraordinary today and OKAY all year...not great.
they have a high draft pick.
they have a good coach.
and good ownership....they do have a bright future....and they have shown that they know where to spend their cap money..

i really do believe that if carr plays more consistently that they can be a playoff team...they are a good draft and a couple of free agents away from being a playoff team...

I still don't think Carr is the right guy to lead the Texans. He just doesn't seem to have the charisma that it takes to lead others. He looks like a kid throwing a temper tantrum at times. I dunno. Maybe it's just me.

If you asked every Texan if they'd like to switch places with the Cowboys, to the man they'd say yes.

that is a very good point and i agree that any team that at home now would love to be a playoff team but can yall give the texans a little credit for what they have done this year

i simply dont believe that the boys are moving froward w/ TO on their team....yall have seen it before and it is happening again....

am i the only person that still believes in carr???

ive seen him make the throws....ive seen what they can do when they can run the ball....

ex. the last 2 weeks...their 2-0

i think he is the exact same player as eli manning but with less talent around him.....if they can run the ball it takes alot of the pressure of him and he feels more relaxed and thier offense works....maybe he doesnt have the intangibles but give him one more shot next year if they can put some talent around him finally

i think the texans are finally starting to put it all together

maybe its just me though

His crucial drops cancel out his great plays. Add the problems that come with TO (deserved or not) and it just doesn't seem to be worth it. I haven't been impressed with Parcells either.

prolly not much trade value....they signed him to that 5 year deal last offseason so that could get a lil more value....but i would give him one more year....
