This is just the preliminary part of what will eventually be a complete listing going back to 1951 but I had to stop for today and thought I'd post what I do have so far.

I realize that there are many districts and many years in which there were 2, 3 or even 4 district co-champs, tri-champs, etc. officially proclaimed but this is a table of the team that got the top seed for each district going in to the playoffs, or in other words, this is a table of teams that would have qualified for the playoffs if the 1 team per district rule (pre-1982) was still in effect.

Please let me know if you see any obvious errors as I did put it together rather quickly...

Celina has won 10 district titles since 1994 (only non-years were 95, 98 and 03)

I know it is irrelevant since 8 of them came in 2A, but just for thought

I'm pretty sure he was Rita, my oldest played against him in 91 and 92

Check your numbers. I thought that under David Bourquin, Graham won 5 straight district titles. 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003.
