I woke up at 5:45--jumped out of bed, showered, and told the family bye. I had a 9 hour trip to make to try to outrun the snow and ice headed in.... I am happy to say (by the GRACE of God) I made it! I should not have driven as fast as I did(for those first 400 miles)...but I did. (I only had one meltdown) I drove thru much rain and then the last 30 miles was ice and snow. The last 20 was blinding -- blowing snow! It took an hour to do the last 25 miles...that front wheel drive car I bought last year did it's job!
They say we will have up to 14" of snow before the weekend is over (yuk). Getting around on that is going to be tough since it is going on top of a bunch of ice!
As long as the internet and electricity stay on I will be fine! :)
