And Kolb would be in the same offense for the 8th year, so he would adjust to the NFl quicker

They signed Carr to a fat extension so they can't very well get rid of him now. To do that would be to admit that they totally screwed last year's draft up.

If they're smart they'll keep him for a few years while they draft o-Linemen and a defense. THEN dump him.

They have a defense IF they could get the D-Line healthy. Only Mario Williams has not missed a game on the line, and he has been slowed by a foot injury all year. Antwaan Peek is a quick pass rusher at DE. DeMeco Ryans is a future All-Pro Linebacker. They need a little help in the secondary, because Dunta can't cover everybody.

only way they'll make the playoffs is if all three teams in their division miraculously come up with steroid tests and all are suspended...thatz pushing it even at that..but who knows

SHOULD have traded Carr for an Olineman, drafted Vince Young...cuz the dline is decent and Williams didn't make it ne better...but who knows...maybe one day, not in the near future though

Carter, it'll take more than that. They have got to address that offensive line first and foremost, then take a look at the secondary. I'd actually put QB as third or fourth on their list of priorities.

Who knows, maybe Matt Schaub will be available for a reasonable price this offseason? If not, Carr would be serviceable for another year as long as they get an o-line, a running game, and they shore up the D a little.
