Have they painted the watertower(s) in Liberty Hill yet? How about a sign at the city limits? I know you all are going to smile a lot everytime you read this - "Liberty Hill Panthers- 2006 3A Division II State Football Champions" You know there are a lot more towns in Texas that can't write that on their tower than those that can----and now Liberty Hill is one that can.

Sure wish we could paint that for the Bulls on one of our towers. One of these days.....

Well, the water tower hasn't been painted yet, but the businesses in town have it on their marquees. I'm not sure what all is planned at this point, other than the community wide celebration next week. It's a very exciting time, that's for sure. :)

Ring orders are being placed Saturday. # 74 described it to me earlier from the picture they saw and it sounds VERY nice. :) Right now, I'm working on the letter jacket patches. I don't remember being this confused 5 years ago when I last ordered.

It will happen. When WOS won their State titles in 4A even the Water Tower was painted.

When Gatesville won the Division I title in 2000, the city council held a special meeting the following Monday night to discuss getting the water tower painted. Nothing like looking up at that tower and seeing "Gatesville Hornets 2000 Division 1 State Football Champs".

When you come in to caldwell we have a huge sign that says "caldwell hornets" and the bottom has a banner that says "state volleyball champs 1998 and 2000" ( i think thats the years lol)

You might think big.

Celina gave up on the water tower thing and started puttin permanent signs up in all sorts of places.

Of course this one is slightly older picture. Couple more state titles in cross country and football since this photo.

The LH water system and the old tower resulted from our senior class civics project in 1964.

To LH players & fans: Congrats on a great season & well-deserved State 3A Football Championship.

Sorry I am late in telling y'all that, but I was away when you won. LH beat Sweeny (my hometown) in the 3rd round, & while it is never fun to lose, at least we lost to a State Champion.

Enjoy it & best of luck in the future. Fine team & really nice community, & I am happy for all of you.
