Besides having Bandera win the 3A Division II State Championship in football Burnet was the state runner ups only losing to a great Everman team. Division 4 also had the state volleyball championship in 3A which was won by Wimberly. In fact Region 4 really went to town in volleyball last year. Round Top - Carmine were state runner ups in 1A, George West went to the State Semi-Finals where they lost to the eventual state champions, New Braunsville was state runner ups in 4A, and Austin Westlake was state champions in 5A. Overall a good fall not only in football for Region 4 but also our girls did well in volleyball. Good job girls!
