Noticed Denver City dropper out of your list. Sweetwater plays them this week, then on to Merkel for what should decide the district champion. Where is Dimmitt though? Are they having a down year?

Are you basing this comment on your assumption that Pilot Point will lose to Van Alstyne Friday? Since both Van Alstyne and Pilot Point are ranked above Gainsville in District what makes you think the Leopards game on the 24th will be for the lead? Are you also giving the Leaopards an automatic win this Friday night, and a guaranteed win against Pilot Point Tuesday? You stepped over the line this time Keith, and I hope it jumps up and bites you.

There are two games you have to play before the 24th and one of them is against Pilot Point, (who just happens to be one of two teams ahead of you in district). If you are not lucky, Gainsville might be playing to move back into third on the 24th, but we will all hide and watch to see what happens with the Mighty Leopards. :D

Carthage is a team to keep an eye on...I don't think they are Top 20 caliber just yet because they are still a little inconsistent..they played Cahpel Hill tough and lost and beat a good Rusk suqad....they still need to do a little more in my opinon..but I'll tell you this they are close to cracking the top 20...that 16-3A is the toughest district in the state no question..with Chapel Hill, Tatum, Rusk and Carthage..a good team is going to be sitting home come playoff time...

DON'T FORGET ABOUT WILMER-HUTCHINS. EVEN THOUGH THEIR RECORD IS 2 GAMES ABOVE 500. THEY ARE PLAYING PRETTY GOOD BASKETBALL RIGHT NOW. TONIGHT THEY BEAT DALLAS MADISON TO GET INTO FIRST TIE.
