View Full Version : What does your user name mean?

I'm sure this has been done on here before but I haven't ever seen it sooo.....

Please give the reasoning behind your user name and what significance it has to you!

Some user names are self explanitory others are a mystery:D

I'll go first. I picked my username, "luvhoops34", because of my love for basketball. 34 was my daughters basketball number in high school. I love her, and I love basketball. :)

cunbed10 (see you in bed #10)I attended Aldine MacArthur high in houston, where my basketball number was 10. I moved back to Marlin my senior year 1986-1987, and my number was 10 also, well in the summer of 1988 I was in the Persian Gulf, aboard the USS LaSalle AGF-3, my girlfriend would write from Marlin and the letters would have c-u-n-bed #10, so RangerMom that's how I got my user name. By the way I married this beautiful woman and every now and then, when the boys are sleep, she will say cunbed#10

Pudlugger
12-20-2006, 09:53 AM
My oldest son when he was a junior in high school was writing a story for his creative writing class. He was supposed to do so anonymously and choose a nom de plume (or pen name for BBDE:D). I suggested "Philbus Pudlugger". It just popped into my head and it became a sort of family joke name. I always liked Pud in the Double Bubble cartoons and guess that's where it started.

BTW my son got an A on his paper and many snickers in class when the teacher read it.:D

Adidas410s

umm...this name goes way back to junior high. When we first got AOL dial up at home...I had to pick out a name. I chose 1 or 2 others but my dad liked those so he took them for himself. Well my best friend already had Adidas10s. The reasoning behind it was "we always wore Adidas when we played tennis (tennis=10s). Well, being the unoriginal person that I am...and tired of my dad taking my other ideas...I went with Adidas410s.

As for Adidas4I0s...well let's just say that I am copying the work of a true downlow genius on that one! ;)

yeah...we were pretty catchy with our abbreviations back in JH! ;)

These days kids can write entire paragraphs without writing out a word...but they've never figured out our sly tennis abbreviation! :)

I registered during the Yankees/Red Sox playoff series in 2003. I am from Iowa Park and the Hawks are Green and I was trying to come up with something that had to do with the school I support. The famed Boston Green Monster was on TV at the time and all the peices just kind of fell into to place.

After hearing the chants of, "Go big blue" all my life, I decided that it was synonymous with Rockdale and decided to put it in front of Defensive End, which is the position that I played in all my years of football. I wish I could change it now, though. *sigh*

Mine has absolutely nothing to do with football, high school or my college for that matter. It is a combination of two of my horses' names, Logan and Jellybean. Logan I called logie and Jellybean I called joebean, so logiejoebean. 001 the year I created the name.

54 - old football number, which I incoporate into everything now
