In all honesty is Romo deserving? Was he deserving after the Saints game to all you uber fans? I agree he is doing a great job but pro bowl worthy???

who else would you take in the NFC???

Brees is obviously the starter for the NFC
Bulger is having a so-so year in St Louis
Grossman is all over the place
Manning went into the tank for over a month
McNabb is gone for the year
Brunell is 68 yrs old and has been pulled in Washington
Hasslebeck missed most of the season with injuries
Vick has had 4 good games in Atlanta in leading them to another 8-8 season
Simms was hurt early in Tampa...Gradkowski hasn't been any better
Johnson was pulled in Minnesota
Alex Smith???
Matt Leinart???

If he was in the NFC he may have had a chance. In the AFC he didn't stand a chance! :(

Agreed. As bad as the NFC stinks Romo is perfectly fine as the #3 pick.

Newman should have gotten selected because he's right up there with Champ as the best cover corner in the league.

Roy Williams should be sitting his butt at home.

Vick had as many good games as Romo...

Roy Williams is the worst cover safety in the league. They need to put 20 lbs on him and move him to Linebacker. I cover better than he does.

VY didnt stand a chance in the AFC...Tom Brady didnt even get selected, so VY is absolutely out of the question. However, in the NFC, VY would have made it over Romo...and I dont understand why Vick didnt go over Romo either. Vick has had his best year, passing and running, and he has been to the Pro Bowl before after worse years while other quarterbacks have had better ones that they had this year, and he still was not selected. I just dont know if Romo is the right choice here, but hey, the majority of fans did, and that is what matters. I just cant believe TO and Roy Williams didnt make it, two of the biggest playmakers in the NFL, and they dont get picked to the Pro Bowl. Ridiculous.

Romo has had a better season then VY.... i dont see how you can realisticly say that if Vince was in the NFC he would be a pro bowler over Romo

I wouldn't have picked Vince for the Pro-Bowl. Then again, you had to have SOMEBODY in that 3rd spot in the NFC. Romo is as good as anyone else I suppose. Fairly terrible year for NFC QBs other than Brees who's playing out of his mind.

No Demeco Ryans???

That about sums it up. And Drew had a bad game against the
Deadskins. Nobody is lighting it up consistently in the nfc and Romo is doing better than most.

that is exactly why i think computers should have a say in who gets in b/c they are not bias.......they go by strait statistics.......and carter is right.......Johnson's season was not 1/2 the season demeco had......but johnson plays offense and is in the spotlight.....

also i do not think romo should have made it......I think the 3rd nfc QB should have been Jeff Garcia......He has played great for the eagles just he doesnt get the love......

But anyway, I agree. Computers screw up the BCS, but the would be helpful for the Pro Bowl voting

How can you lead the league in unassisted tackles and be #2 overall and not get voted to the Pro-Bowl when a guy like Roy Williams who can't cover the broad side of a barn does. . .????

DeMeco should have been a lock. Oh well. Like anyone actually watches the Pro-Bowl anyway.

I'm not impressed with Romo the Homo. Against quality opposition like NO he sucked. The same will happen when the undeserving Boys are in their first playoff game.

Trust me, I'm not taking anything away from Garcia. He's played lights out ball since coming in for Donovan McNabb. I just haven't seen enough of him to be convinced that he's pro-bowl material this year.

Romo still has a better QB rating, even after the loss to NO.

was real shocked at the NFC runningbacks. I couldn't believe westbrook didn't make it.

VanKampen

TO leads the league in receiving touchdowns. why didnt he make it?

Name Team Rec Yds Y/G Avg Lng TD
Donald Driver GNB 80 1173 83.8 14.7 82 7
Roy Williams DET 70 1127 80.5 16.1 60 4
Steve Smith CAR 76 1081 90.1 14.2 72 6
Torry Holt STL 80 044 74.6 13.1 67 10
Terrell Owens DAL 77 1040 74.3 13.5 51 11
Anquan Boldin ARI 75 1027 73.4 13.7 49 4

boldin should not have made it. TO obviously dropped so many passes because he has a torn ligament in his finger. donald driver plays for a team that has no one else to throw to. he's okay though. this is a travesty.

Well, his stats weren't good enough for the Pro-Bowl but he's an alternate which is pretty good for a rookie QB.

'In a year of outstanding rookies, Hester is the only one to make it, although Tennessee quarterback Vince Young is an alternate.'

Pro bowl selection of skill positions is done by fans so it is a popularity contest.
