By request...

After pointing out the difficulty Region IV has had in 4A until this year in another post I just realized after updating this post that this was the first time in 11 years that Region IV didn't have a State Finalist team in 3A... When was the last season that you could say that the 4A Region IV teams fared better than the 3A Region IV teams?

wow hondo only has 2 region championships in there ... this year and 71.. that is crazy considering the stellar playoff apperances

I know Sinton was in the Region Final game in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004 :( Only came out alive in 2001. In 2000, I think that was the year Adrian got hurt in the Cuero game and Sinton didn't have him for the Bandera game. 2002 & 2003 = Burnet then Cuero in '04.

Still a nice run. :)

its still hard to believe in 2001 one LaGrange and Giddings were in different regions but the towns are located just 15 minutes (driving the speed limit)lol apart...interesting
