Well, before playing us in the first round last week, Wharton played Rice Consolidated and won...

Their bust-out sign Friday Night said...

"Okay, we've had our Rice, time for Turkey"...

IT aint easy being a Gobbler...

when Forney played at Pinkston the sign said "Our biggest challenge is winning the coin toss" ... kinky tacky

Forney always has great ones. I still love the "Fetch This" bone from the Carthage game last year :D

I am almost certain that I will be there. If I am there, I think I am going to wear a Gilmer T-Shirt with "Who's Your Daddy?" printed on the back. :D

I will also be signing autographs for free during half-time. :p

If you're 'read-up' on the road to our independence as a state, you'll know that Gonzales is where the 'Come and Take it' thing went on with that cannon of theirs...

I remember they had a sign once that said 'You want it, come and take it'...

We beat 'em that night, and I wanted our sign for the next year to be 'We came, we saw, and we took the d*mn thing'... Oh well... You can't always get what ya want...

i liked last years for wharton it said Whitehead Lawn service says to... weed out wharton and it had a burnet football player with a W on the back pushing a lawn mower :p it had a nice ring!!

Last year at the Columbus vs La Grange game in Victoria, the Columbus Cheerleaders sign was all pink, with the perfectly duplicated lettering "Victoria's Secret"... Columbus Cardinals
