29 year Jinx Finally Ends for Region IV in 4A

I know it's not 3A but there are some Region IV fans here that will appreciate it....

Alamo Heights finally ended the jinx for Region IV as they are the first Region IV team to win a state championship in 4A (or the equivalent before 1980) since 1977!! Note the lack of blue in the Region IV column in the following table.

Ain't gonna happen. Best shot of a state title out of the RGV is from 3A and below.

Why do they keep hiring other schools discards??? Why not bring in some new blood to give things a kick start. I know there are some really talented kids in the RGV, not fair to them.
