Robinson Rockets

Rocket fans,
As someone who had never seen your team before tonight let me tell you some things that really impressed me (and I have seen alot of fb games....I am old)
1. Robinson had the best 3A crowd I have ever seen; the cars were decorated, the home side stands were solid blue, the Robinson fans sounded like 20,000 people, signs were everywhere, and fans were on their feet for every big play
2. The Rockets played about as hard as I've ever seen; they had less talent than LE but never quit coming at 'em
3. It's a shame either team had to go home without a victory

I must say I was surprised to see the Hondo stands filled at 2:15 when we were told that gates would not open until 2:30. However - I would still say that Cuero has the best 3A crowd, colors and loudness that we've ever played.

I totally agree with dogdad. I really felt the Rockets' pain last night too. I'm so extremely proud of our Leopards - but my heart hurts for those young men in blue as well. What a fantastic effort and fantastic crowd support - on both sides of the field.

That was everything a state championship game should be.

Congratulations Rockets on a helluva season. You are a truly classy bunch.
