I really hate to see Dodge leave Carroll. I know he has to do what is best for him and his family, but I would just love to see what SLC could accomplish if he were to stick around. What he has done since arriving there is simply remarkable. I know there were other great streaks in Texas high school football history, with the Sealy, Cuero and Celina runs, but that was all at the 3A and 2A levels where those teams almost always outclass their opponent until very late in the playoffs. Dodge is doing more at SLC where over 50% of the teams they are playing year in and year out are more talented than the Dragons. What he has done with the SLC program since moving to 5A is the most impressive thing I can think of ever associated with Texas high school football. I just wish he could stick around until someone knocks them off, not the way it's going to be....Great job Coach Dodge and good luck at UNT!:clap:

the worst two things that could happen to the eagles did:

they had immediate turnovers that led to carroll points, and they lost their starting qb on the first series
