GWOOD, too bad you can't come. You would enjoy seeing us play. Vernon looks pretty good. I finally got to see some film. They do look a trifle slow tho. Reckon we will find out in a few hours.

I'm sure I would.

Speed is not Vernon's greatest asset, especially from the offensive side. However, linebackers and ends as a group reacted and got to the ball quicker than any team that Greenwood played this year. Even more than Snyder's D. Where Snyder's D was better was secondary.

Our Defense is fast at all positions but one tackle. He runs a 5.0
in the fourty but at 6 7 270 he really ties up people. Everybody else is 4.8 to 4.6 with 2 or 4.5's thrown in. That is why we gang
tackle well. And our line is powerful and fast. Exept Troy.
