I put the 50 year curse on the Detroit Lions because of the way they treated me when they let me go from the team. They made me ride the bench even though I got them to the NFL championship the year before. Then they didn't even let me know they had traded me and I didn't find out till Pittsburgh officials called me and told me about it. Like other players before I was discarded when they felt they didn't need me even though I gave them the best years of my career along with three NFL championships. When I left Detroit I said they would never win anything in 50 years. The curse is still going. They have got into the playoffs a few times but they have never reached a final championship game. They are one of the few old teams to have never even played in the super bowl. The good thing for them is that the curse will end in 2007 next year. Who am I?
