I'll be there. You can find me dancing on the sidelines with the cheerleaders.

Don't just send Lion92, also send your kids over and I will give them a hug too! :inlove:

I'm not sure lion75 is that mad at me, so he might not need a hug.

Who-dun-it!!?

I asked a question a year ago about Vernon and nobody answered. Who was the RB/FB that was on the 1972 team that was the state shotput champion and ran the 100 also?

I was never hit harder by anybody.

I thought it was illegal to bring a shotput to a football game:)

I have asked everybody and no one can rember or that was too early for them. I'm still asking though, maybe I'll get one of the oldtimers at this weekends game to tell me.

I have a ton of signs this week. Last week I had the "'D' Fence" sign at the Greenwoood game.

My signs are getting popular all the students want to hold them up!

Ok also my daughter is a Cheerleader for the Lions! Go Whitney!!!

I do not need a hug, but I wouldn't mind sending you home wearing 3 shoes. You can guess where the third one would go.

I'll be there....but so far I have yet to decide which poll option I will perform....I am receiving cash offers for each option due to the exorbitant amount of bets between the dreebs that concern themselves of such trivial matters....

and like bobcat1....I'll have on some orange so I'll be easy to spot....

but of course at around noon we have a big city pep rally, so any of you lions fans that wanna see it can come on over....

I think we should meet up at the game. However, once your in the stadium, they won't let the Celina and Vernon fans intermingle. Something about a cat fight...:D

I'm going to guess the 1972 RB was Lawrence Gaines. Went on to play for the Detroit Lions. This is just my guess though.

You guys might consider meeting on one side or the other of the main entrance, on one side of the ticket booth or the other, for a M&G. If somebody would make a sign reading "3A Downlow" and stand holding it up in this location, I bet they would get some business. I think you want to get far enough to one side from the ticket booth so as not to interfere with those trying to buy tickets. I don't know yet if I will be able to make it or not. Best of luck to both of these great teams for a clean, hard-hitting game with no injuries.

Some good places to eat in Denton are:

On the Border
Texas Road House
(Both of these are on northbound I35 on the south side of Denton)

Outback
Johnny Carino's
(Both of these are further north up I35, Carino's on the North, Outback on the south)
