Whos the best quarterback from a fictional movie
"Steamin" Willie Beamen (Any Given Sunday) - came in mid season for the Miami Sharks and led them to the playoffs. He is a good throwing qb with mobility... he can come off as a little arrogant but the guy is a winner as he proved against Dallas in the playoffs
Jr Boyd (Little Giants)- Jr led a furious 2nd half comeback for the out maned giants against Kevin O Shays Cowboys squad. After he surrered an injury he kept his team spirited from the sidelines
Joe Kane (The Program)- He is an alcohalic but is a great football player. He has deceptive speed and a good arm. He led his ESU Timberwolf squad back from down 10-0 in the last game of the season against Georgia Tech to get in a bowl game. He fell out of the 93 heisman race (went to Tim "he could go all the" wayman) however he is a frontrunner for the 94 heisman.
Paul Blake (Necessary Roughness)- Paul was a great high school football quarterback who never played in college due to commitments of working on the farm. After probation ravaged Texas St.'s program. They had to put together a patch work squad and they got Blake to be the quarterback. They lost 9 in a row to start the season but turned it around by tying Kansas in a monsoon 3 to 3. Then the following week they upset the number 1 Texas Colts in a huge rivalry game.
Cap Rooney (Any Given Sunday)- Cap was once a great player however he is a little bit past his prime. He still has a solid arm and is very gutsy. Would make a great backup to mentor a young qb.
Shane Falco (the replacements)- after taking a beating in the sugar bowl falco thought he was done with football forever. Until the Washington Sentinels team went on strike and they came calling for him. He struggled at first and then gave his spot up to Martell. But came back in the second half vs Dallas and led a all replacement team over the defending World champs
Paul Crewe (the longest yard)- a former standout quarterback who was imprisoned. His fellow prisoners rallied aroung him and they pulled off a huge upset over the guards. Crewe has a great football mind and some pretty good skills
feel free to mention anyone i left off
