I've been waiting all season long for the company to let me use our Dallas Stars tickets again...well I FINALLY get an e-mail tonight but I'm flying out to Lubbock for a wedding this evening so I can't go! :weeping::weeping::weeping:

Oh well...I think I'll surprise "the girl" (yes RM...that girl! ;)) and friends with them! ;)

tough luck. :( At least your friends will enjoy them.

One time I won two tickets to the Spurs vs Detroit (I think. I know Calvin Hill's son played for the other team) when I answered a radio show question. I couldn't go but I gave them to my boss and a friend and they got to enjoy a game even though the Spurs lost by one point.

Oh it gets worse...she is from Littlefield...so the wedding is in Littlefield on Saturday afternoon. This the first time since 1982 that Littlefield has played for a state championship. That time, they lost to Refugio 22-21.

Yeah...they're going to be getting married in a ghost town! :(

every football fan/lover knows the rules.

You DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT schedule a wedding during football season.

I'm sorry but it's true, if my cousin was getting married last year on a Friday during football season I'd have to tell her, "sorry I couldn't make your wedding, but I'll be there the day you file for divorce."

because WHY? football is something you just dont miss.
