Of course it was Joe Cocker!!!!! But it was originally written by the Beatles in 67. Titled "A Little Help from my Friends"...from the Sgt. Peppers album.

Yep, it was a good show. Does anyone remember the rumor that the main character's (can't remember his name) best friend on the show was Marilyn Manson (which isn't true)?

I think his name was Paul on the show. He was Kevin's best friend, along with Winnie, Kevin's gf.

I get high with a little help from my friends

Anyone who says that is NOT a drug song is sorely mistaken

Joe Cocker's version is the only cover of a Beatle song I can tollerate. I have his performance of that song at Woodstock and it's right up there with Hendrix's National Anthem. Blows me away.

I miss the Wonder Years. I don't ever remember seeing a bad episode.
My favorite episode was the classic, "Does she like me, or does she like me like me?"

Years and years ago there was a similar rumor regarding Alice Cooper and the Leave it to Beaver Show. Cooper was supposed to have been the Beave or some other character on the show when he was a kid in the late 1950s early 1960s.

Too bad it'll never land on DVD. Too many classic songs on there that are charging out the wazoo for rights to use. Heard each season would be upward of $200 because of the cost of the soundtrack.
