kaorder, I don't have personal knowledge about it, but I have a son and a son-in-law that are both computer pros. If you could PM me about your problem, I'll be glad to ask them for you.

I tried to just reinstall Win XP and it says that Admin. Priveleges do not allow me to. How do i get rid of this Admin. crap?

I'm not 'too' familiar with XP pro. If you dunno the password than you shouldn't be able to do anything about it...

If your friend doesn't know, ask who he got it from etc...

Sounds like a tough one...

Did you get the help you needed?? This happened to my cousin earlier in the year & it was a PAIN IN THE ASS to correct! We were on the phone, on a laptop & it took hours to correct. I think you have to reassign a password if you can't remember it & that requires a "live" person over at Microsoft or with the customer svc reps of the computer company. GOOD LUCK getting someone on the phone that speaks ENGLISH!!
