Even after sitting a year he recieved many offers from various Big 12 Schools.
Wonder if he'll stay true to his word

Why not? Mizzou recruits Texas hard, look at their roster. Big 12 program & a good school too. Maybe he thought it was his best offer & chance to play. Good luck Gilbert Moye.

Does Moye have some connection to him I'm unaware of?

Good luck G. I hope they red-shirt him cause after Chase leaves it'll be his team.

Stryker Sulak of Rockdale is at Mizzou
D'nerio Alexander of Marlin is at Mizzou also
Quite a few 3a people up there.
I counted them earlier this year, & I believe Mizzou has around 20+ Texans on roster. Daniels, Overstreet, Suylak, DE from San Antonio, etc. Definitely recruit Texas hard (as do many).

I agree with you. I'm surprised he was recruited at all.

He's got tons of potential. I hope he can get it all together and get his head screwed on straight. He could be something special.
