# 4 will be a beast next year. Imagine him and # 44 - Allman in the same backfield next year!!!

the funny thing is he most likely will be in the backfield! :D

he came to LH as a running back and line backer but gained some weight in the off season and defensive end fit him a little better this year....next year could hold as a very physical backfield for the panthers!

If you were behind the runner, (like where the referee with the white hat was), it would be possible to think the ground caused the loss of possession. And if you were fan in the stands back behind the runner, it might also seem he was down before losing possession. But the rest of the refs probably had a good look at it and could see it was a fumble.

Man, that's a bang-bang play. We have "when in question" points, and one says, when in doubt, it is a fumble.

So, what was the ruling? I take it the officials called it correctly, a fumble?

I will see what I can do. I have the whole game on my computer. The question is, how big of a file will YouTube let me upload.

It was ruled a fumble but some G backers were adamant the player was down and "ground caused the fumble". I could see them thinking that if they were behind the runner.

The Giddings coach has made a complete a$$ of himself.

He makes a comment about how they needed his son....uh.....what was the score when he WAS IN THERE?

He's basically cutting down his backup who led them back into the game. Bush league comments...

Besides, don't have your qb on the dang kickoff team. Dumb...

I can easily see how someone could think that ball was down before the fumble if they were looking at the QB's back and couldn't see the ball.

While you're putting up video, put the video of Brock's injury on YouTube so that everyone can see that it happened while he was making a block on kickoff return and not from a cheapshot.

I can understand that also...BUT, after seeing THAT shot of the video clip, it should squelch all complaints that the ground caused the fumble!
