Good & about time. Never understood why the highest level in the world changed to an indoor/outdoor ball this season. Slippery when wet, back to leather baby!

about time! I never understood why the NBA tried to ram that new ball down everybodys throat. Stern isn't the one out there on the floor having to use the ball. I don't care if he likes it or not! The players don't like it and they're the ones who have to use it everyday.

Now if they would start enforcing the rules without favorites we would have a great game again.

Agreed, but I have seen more traveling & palming the ball (to gain advantage) called this year in college & pro. More than recent years by far, so it is a good start.

The rules were abused for so long that kids today literally do NOT know the correct rules anymore. I had a kid ask me a few years ago how many steps he could take on a lay-up (seriously!), & this kid was a good player now playing D1 in another sport. He was emulating what he had seen on tv! Anyway, good start IMO.

I bet more shots will be missed because they have been playing with the new ball and the transition to the old ball will effect it.
