I think Roosevelt is playing down to their competition because they only beat Mexia by 6 and from what I saw this weekend Mexia isn't that good....not yet anyway im sure they will improve a lot before district though.

Is anyone surprised to see La Vega ranked? Not sure at what their record is, but they lost 2 of 3 at the Fairfield Tournament.

no they just got out of football last week and they have to turn around and play a good solid tournement for their first game....

Not saying LaVega isnt a good team, because they are. But, there are too many good teams in the state to keep a team that has been losing ranked, polls normally take into account what a team has done, not what a team might do.

Ive always liked the Texas Hoops poll better just seems more accurate to me.
