Aston Whiteside. Two weeks in a row over 200 yards rushing...over two very stout defenses that prepared for him.

Great player and a very humble person. Noticed that he gives props to his o-line in the local paper every week.

Dru Prosser of the Celina Bobcats.

8 for 12 188 yards no picks. 1 td passing. 2 rushing. 19 rushes for 60 yards. 3 solo tackles. One interception and return for 35 yards 5 punt returns for 30 yards. 6 good kick offs with one perfectly executed on side kick. 3 extra points. No penalties. Perfect game as a man could have. Played nearly the entire game.

Played QB because of injury to Seth Davis the starter. And at the end of the game he was still helping the Bears up. He will be the first to say it was a team effort. He is the starting FS and Punt
returner and Kicker and plays tailback and WR as well. Starting
QB this week because of injuries.

Whiteside--Vernon! He is the most overpowering HS player I have seen in many years.

Werner and Hack had good games, but its hard to have a player of the week game against a team like Wimberley.

How can you not give it to Ashton Whiteside, over 200 yards and multiple touchdowns for the third time this POST SEASON ! He is a beast and a great kid. dont find those too often.

Breck Holman from Celina was a thorn in the side of Ricco, and forced the fumble just before half that turned the tide, and was a stellar performer on D all day...all that from a 5'4 140 lb defensive end:)

It would be good if someone could find his defensive stats, ie, tackles in the game. I'm sure he took a breather on some defensive series but nearly every time I looked, he was on defense as well.

Dear Fellow Celina Fans,
I think the Vernon kid should get the player of the week.

I am waiting for the week after December 23rd for a Celina kid to get player of the week.

So let's all put our homerness aside for another week or possibly two?

Sincerely,
Bobcat Benny

Did those 72 tackles come in the Snyder game or Sweetwater game?;)
