The school superinendent has stated that apps. will be accepted until January 15th. They hope to have someone in place no later than March 1.

Coach Morgan was not asked to resign nor was he pressured to do so. This was his decision. He felt it was time for someone new to take over the program. Where ever he lands, that school will be lucky to have him. Great person and a super coach. He will be missed in Gatesville

From what I hear the job is spoken for by this guy, Doug Kent. They just had to post it because they had to.

I can tell you that they posted it to get the best candidate and Coach Morgan did resign on his own. As for Doug Kent, he played with Coach Morgan at Gatesville and was in the same graduating class. I don't know what Doug's qualifications are, but the job is not spoken for.
