It will probably be saturday since the fact that Vernon's game have been on Saturday, and Celina would enjoy an extra day of rest!

My understanding is that it will be definitely Saturday. They will flip for the location. If Celina wins the flip, it will be the C.H. Collins Athletic Complex (DISD stadium off Loop 288). If Vernon wins the flip, it will be in Wichita Falls.

Supposed to be mid 60's all week including Saturday. I am up for shorts and an afternoon ball game at Denton. I just hope everyone else making the decisions sees it my way. :D

It's going to be a very tough game for Vernon! They been here before, 2003 against Atlanta we lost 32-14!! Hopefully we can pull off the upset! Good luck to both teams and can't wait to see it!

I am pulling for Vernon in this one as they are the ones to take out our Tigers but I feel that Celina is going to be too much. Anyway!

mchavez, you are correct. It will be a slobberknocker!

I know it may be selfish...but, I REALLY hope the game is in Denton. We had to travel to Wichita Falls last year in the Semis against Childress. It was cold then and I'm sure it will be cold this year too. I'd rather play in the metroplex where it usually seems to be 10-15 degrees warmer!

Denton is a really nice field. We got beat pretty handily there by Gainsville 2 years ago but it's a really nice complex.
