I'm live at Texas Stadium today for the SLC/Heritage rematch. In the regular season, SLC defeated Heritage 56-7...and in fact the SLC cheerleaders brought a giant banner that says "56-7...are you ready for Round 2," and proceeded to show it to the Heritage fans.

One side note, this is the 500th high school playoff game to be played at Texas Stadium.

Southlake is wearing their traditional white jerseys, black pants, and bleach blonde hair under their their white helmets. Heritages is wearing all black with white numbers and red trim ala Texas Tech's alternate black jerseys that they wore against Mizzou this year.

He hurt his ankle vs Trinity...injured it again last week against Permian and had to sit out a series. I've heard anything from a high ankle sprain to strained ligaments in his ankle/foot. I'll see what else I can find out.

Both coachers were just presented with a trophy in honor of this being the 500th game...
