Monahans beats Snyder and then beats Midland Christian.
Midland Christian beats Vernon.
Graham beats Monahans
Snyder beats Greenwood
Graham beats Vernon
Greenwood beats Graham (2)
Vernon beats Snyder

I believe it shows how competitive football is in this Region.

Competitive yes...but we won't know for a couple of weeks whether it is competitive due to relatively mediocrity or due to multiple strong teams that can compete with anyone.

West texas is competitive w/in itself. Just my opinion, semis and state finals usually prove it to be true.

I think Region I is probably the weakest in the state. Region IV usually isn't far behind it in terms of the depth of good football teams overall.

This year I'm almost inclined to throw Region II in there as well as far as how weak it's been. The DII bracket in the region is about as bad as I can remember ever seeing it. None of this year's regional semi-finalists would've beaten any of the four that made it last year. Gosh that was a loaded final four last season with Tatum, Gilmer, Madison and Canton. Even though Tatum deservedly won the title, the other three would've won it as well had they made it out of that bracket.
