IRVING - Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November, the NFL announced today.
In his first full month as an NFL starting quarterback, Romo completed 85 of 117 passes (72.6 percent) for 1,124 yards with nine touchdowns and one interception for an NFL-best 124.7 passer rating.
Romo posted a passer rating of at least 100.0 in three of the four games and guided Dallas to a 3-1 record.
The Cowboys opened November in Washington and Romo, in his second career NFL start, completed 24 of 36 passes (66.7 percent) for 284 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 109.0 passer rating.
The next week, Romo completed 20 of 29 passes (69.0 percent) for a career-high 308 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 126.8 passer rating in a win over Arizona.
That performance earned Romo his first NFC Offensive Player of the Week Award.

On Thanksgiving, Romo tied a franchise record with five touchdown passes as he completed 22 of 29 passes (75.9 percent) for 306 yards without an interception for a career-best 148.9 passer rating.
Romo was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for that performance.
