Texas HS Playoff game to be played in Mexico

This is crazy, a south Texas team (Trojans of Asherton, TX - Class 1A ) will be playing in Mexico (Piedras Negras) vs Cline Conquistadors.

I had heard about a possible out of state game, with a East Texas team, but out of the country game? That's just crazy, but very cool, that stadium/arena looks nice. I wonder if there is grass there now? :thinking: BTW, would this be ok with the uil?

How'd you like your team, to play in this arena? (Plaza Monumental de Aguascalientes)

it's a joke and I fell for .... but then again I know that Asherton has a HS, because my senior year we played against them. I feel my hair getting blonde lol (no offense to those blonde haired ladies)

In my defense I have become less familar to that area, since being away for over 20 years now.
