John McClain said on sports 610 this morn that rumors are flying that Major Applewhite will join Chiziks staff at Iowa state next year. I assume as offensive coordinator if true.

hmm...very interesting. They do have talent at the skill positions up there that will be back next year. Heck...I took my 2nd loss ever on NCAA to Iowa State in the 2007 season. Meyer has a chance to be a stud QB.

Oh...and congrats to Major if indeed this is true. Sucks to be Rice though as it's hard to see them continuing their winnings ways...but you never know!

Rice will win. They could have been a 2 loss team this year if they werent playing Florida State and UCLA and Texas.
