Greenwood...cuz the beat Graham! :(

I know it would be impossible to find stats on him...but the RT for Brownsboro (Edwards) that is heading to Baylor next year is an absolute stud. He probably pancaked # 79 from Pilot Point about 80% of the time...plus the times where #79 just went straight to the ground on his own! ;)

LONNIE EDWARDS

true...true...at least until they see G2's comment at the bottom! ;) I snagged a few pictures of him driving some guys but as it was the end of the game the effort wasn't quite the same. I'll have to post one tonight to further our nomination.

Doesn't matter, he goes to the wrong high school;)

I guess I'll throw Brock Fitzhenry, QB for Giddings in the mix. I'm not certain on the stats, was it 313 yards rushing and 4 TD's or something like that?

Ramos's numbers are great and all, but come one, Andrews? Everybody knew after the Wylie game it was pretty much a backpeddle to the semis. Now don't anybody jump on me about hating b/c yes, Canyon is a good team and deserve to be where they are, but I think lower numbers against a better defense should get the nod. BTW, congrats on breaking the Panhandle passing record, quite an accomplishment.

Ricky Beaty Sr. QB Wimberley

10-16 - 279 - 1 TD Passing - 27.9 yards per completion (no int's)

14 - 134 - 1 TD rushing - 9.57 yards per carry

1 - 18 - 1 TD receiving - you do the math! lol

431 total yards and 3 TD's and one pass break up on defense that saved a TD.

Michael Buse Sr. RB Wimberley

18 - 107 - 4 TD's on runs of 5-10-18-18 - 5.94 yards per carry

2 - 40 yards receiving - 20 yard average per catch

- also had a HUGE 50 yard opening Kickoff return that gave us the momentum

Not to forget that all this came against a very good cuero defense!
