So exactly how many times do you think McNair has tried to kick his own rear end for not putting his foot down and demanding that they draft Vince? :)

I feel for Carr. The guy has been running for his life the last 4 years.

Just glad to see that things are the same in Houston. Sounds like the days of Dan Pastorini, good QB, no line.

carr is a pansy. him and his 1-read checkdowns are going to be run out of houston. the line has been bad....or has it? we have used so many personnel, but the one constant has been carr in the last 5 yrs...coincidence? when another QB starts for the texans, the teams record is 2-2

My sentiments exactly. David Carr is not a leader & never will be. Has all the physical tools but lacks the intangibles. Not a fan of his whatsoever. I think Gary Kubiak has seen enough too, but with Rosenfels out for the year he had no choice today.

Carr is on borrowed time, IMO. And lots of changes by Kubiak & Rick Smith coming this offseason too.

Sage Rosenfels......? Come on. He is a league re-tread.

Houston needs to cut Carr and Draft Troy Smith! I think i heard on espn that Carr didn't even complete a pass in the second half! Could be wrong though

That is correct. Team wound up with negative net yards passing. (Pro procedures deduct sack yards from other passing yards. )

There is good news about team though. I can safely say Texans are not the worst team in league. Raiders have that distinction.

Carr is given too much blame.....if he has time, he can pick a D apart just like any NFL Qb.... he is lacking the intagibles though....he has no pocket awareness.....and Troy smith is overrated......he has a good team around a "good" qb....not "GREAT"

Troy Smith??? HA...maybe if they're looking for a backup QB in the 2nd or 3rd round! :)

as a texans fan drafting a quaterback seems like the right thing to do. i don't care who they draft first as long as it's not another d-lineman, they don't put points on the board.
I think the teams ticket sales would take a hit if they drafted a quaterback after passing on the home town favorite.

it wouldn't be bad if they got D. Robinson some secondary help. if don't get him some serious help, i don't see him sticking around.
