There is a very good 4A night game there also. 12-1 Alamo Heights plays 13-0 Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated at 7pm in one of the best matchups of the weekend.

I plan to see the LH/Giddings game, then head up to Margarita's in LH for chow, and then back to RRISD for the nightcap. :D

By the way, is LH on the home or visitor side? Please say they are home. I hate looking into the sun. :cool:

Alright guys/gals we will be having a tail gate party before the game for 3adownlow. Everyone is welcome and it would be nice if you would bring something also. LHPM is bringing stuff for sausage wraps and I will be bringing chips. We will be there around 10 am and have the grill going. Hope to see everyone there! Some things other posters could bring;

Hello LH fans....I plan to be there. Would it be ok to sit on your side? I'm from Bellville so I guess I should sit on Giddings side since they're in our district - but I'm having a tough time pulling for them since they've beat us twice in a row now. I'm still hurting over the loss to them this year. That was one heck of a game. One warning to LH fans & their team, as I'm sure you now know, Fitzhenry is for real. He's not very big but exceptionally fast!! IMO stop him & you stop Giddings.

Last week, there were several hundred Buffalo fans lined up at the Gate before the stadium opened! We've all got our own favorite seats at RRISD now. Mine is the lower section, at about the 45.

caldwell and rockdale don't have a real good track record against us in the last 15 or 20 years, so they are tired of getting beat by us. Therefore they root for other people to beat us and try and get a high off of that. Bellville and us have just traded very good licks over the last few years. Before that we use to have some really good scrimmages. They were great too (the scrimmages), two good teams getting a good work out early in the season.

Giddings will dang near fill the visitor side if we don't.

It's been a couple of years since I've been there, but they were allowed in 2004, with some kind of restriction. (Shoot me, but I forgot what and don't still have the email.) I emailed them earlier today to verify and will update once I hear back from them.

I heard back from the RRISD AD. Tailgating is fine as long as there are no open flames or glass containers...and as per Texas state law, NO alcohol.
