should be a great game, no idea about L-E, only that they have a ton of athletes and speed. canyon is clicking on all cylinders, especially on offense. i expect some scoring on saturday.

Its true, Canyon is clicking on all cylinders, Ramos is having a great year. Became the leading passer in the Panhandle on Saturday. Canyon's defense is gonna have to play all out like the last 2 weeks.

I'll take Region II over Region I most of the time and I'll do it this time too. I think Canyon keeps it within 7-10 points due to the game being played in West Texas.

i don't see how Canyon has made it to the semi's when we dominated them...i thought Wylie would man handle Canyon quite honestly...ehh w/e..i say L-E by 21+

Well it's easy....Canyon played you guys early in the season, right? Canyon has improved in all aspects of the game. It will be a good game against L-E. So Canyon has gotten better and some one didn't! Whose playing round ball? Canyon or Sweetwater?

I think Canyon has a decent chance in this one, although LE played their guts out and beat two very good teams already in the playoffs.

Should be a great game. Both teams have beaten some quality teams to get this far. Canyon has size and strength to go with a scatback of a QB. they also have a tremendous defense to go with their O. LE has good speed, both at the RB positions and on defense. This has the makings of a great game.

key for both teams will definitely be slowing down the opposing offense. we will have to play very fast on defense like we have been, and have to keep from giving up those big plays in the secondary. both teams will score, matter of who makes the big plays and big mistakes. eagles have been playing their best ball of late, and it will take that to beat LE.

If Canyon plays like it did against Abilene Wylie then it will be tough to deny the Eagles a spot in the Championship. Should be a solid game between 2 great teams, whicher team has the ball at the end of the game is probably gonna be the winner.

Canyon is very similar to RC on offense and RC had 470 yds. against LE, although Canyon may be a cut below RC

Canyon will have a tough time stopping LE's offense

your talking about a team that stayed composed enough to beat a very loaded Gilmer team....take your purple shades off and see something as reality....this will be no runaway..

i dont think its gonna be a runaway, but Canyon has just as good of a chance as anybody of beating LE. They played well against Gilmer, but people think that its a fluke that the Eagles got this far. Atleast we're one of the 4 teams left not dribblin the basketball yet.

It's just that some people don't like the fact that they're in the gym now when they beat a team that is now in the semi's. Thats' life people. Teams get better. Some teams come out flat and get killed. It's over now, move on with life.

If the Canyon defense can play well i dont think the offense will have to do anything amazing, just score when needed. I dont think its gonna be a game where the both offenses will have to score every drive. Its gonna come down to who's defense gives up the most big plays. Defense wins championships.

I guess I would be a little ticked off too if I was one of the only two teams to beat someone and be watching that team play so deep in the playoffs!! Sometimes life just isn't fair is it?? By the way, if Gilmer got beat, it was probably because the other team was better, you know, kind of like Vernon was better than Sweetwater that one night . I guess you are going to say that Div 2 is a fluke now that SW is out of there:rolleyes:

Man, I'm pissed. I have a final in my Design class tomorrow at 4, otherwise, I'd be making a road trip down to Sweetwater. It's okay though. I imagine me and Adidas will make one of the State games in the next few weeks. We'll be sure to get hooked up some time next season for a few games. Are you heading down there?

I'll take LE. Should be close. Saw LE last year in this same game when they were very young. They played hard but couldn't get it done. I think they get it done this year. Canyon is playing well also, no doubt about it. They barely got out of Wichita Falls in round one but, they made the plays at the end and got it done.
