Round Rock is about as central you can get as far as a decent stadium goes. If DKR was open for HS games that would of been a possibility.

Gidding to RR - 58 miles
LH to RR - 23 miles

Not bad at all for either team.

What a great game and terrific venue. Both teams must feel good about this. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win!:D

just to set the recrod straight..i wasn't talkin about the stadium...BUT 58 is alot more than 23 but its as close as it gets...I was talking about the time and day of game...our coaches would have preferred to play on Friday and atleast play a night game...instead of an afternoon game like LH has played the last two weeks

Just take 290 into Austin from Giddings then head to Round Rock. Really not that far

His problem seems to be "WHEN" we're playing, not where. Comprehension is good to have. :p

Giddings is 3-0 at the RRISD Palace over the last two years. We may need to travel a little farther, but this will be almost like a home game for the Buffs.

LH has only played there once (in '04) and won. They actually practiced at that stadium the same year for a couple of weeks so LH also feels right at home there.

Can't wait!!

I'm definately gonna be at this game! I expect it to be a classic. The game may not last more than 2 hours, but, it'll be an awesome game no doubt...

We practiced there this year too. Nothing new to the Panthers.

The distance to the goal line is the same on all fields anyway and we know where its at.
