Well all of 16-4A is still going strong. A Waco win tomorrow against Whitehouse sets up a big game at Floyd Casey next week between Waco and Brownwood for the Region II championship.

Congratulations to Cove as well on their huge win tonight against Texas High up here at Texas Stadium. I think they've now gone farther than any team in the history of the school!

It is amazing to me that Bwood has to win a coin flip in a 3 way tie to make the playoffs at the Evant Shell station and now they are in the 4th round of the playoffs.

It is somewhat amazing how that worked out, but Brownwood got in (deservedly so) and they've hit their stride now and are doing it with a lot of younger guys on the field. A rematch with Waco High, provided Waco beats a pretty good Whitehouse team later on today, would be an awesome game to be at next week.

Good thing Sweetwater played Brownwood early in the year. They are going to be scary for both Sweetwater and Wylie next year with all their underclassmen.
