An Open Note To All of My Downlow Friends:

I have been forced to come to a decision recently about where I am in life and what I am spending my time on, and I realized that the only ties to high school football that I have left are the memories and the love for the game. 3A Downlow has been very welcoming to me ever since I began posting here over four years ago, and I have frequented this message board since I became a member. I have decided that I need to spend my time doing other things and maintain a focus on my schoolwork. This is going to be very hard to do, but I am going to have to take a leave of here. Not a complete leave, but I will definately not be posting as much anymore or getting to talk to the people of here, many of whom I have considered friends, and that is the only thing that has brought me back day by day. I know that there are many posters who I have pissed off, and have stepped on the moderator's toes more times than once, I would like to apologize for all of that. I think what is so hard to leave this place is the friendships that you make and the different characters who light up the board. This isn't a goodbye, it's a "see you later." I'll still be here if any of you need anything at all, even if it is just to catch up, just send me a PM. So with that, I take my leave, thanks to everyone who has made this place so great.

It never ceases to amaze me why ppl feel like they have to tell everyone on a message board that they are going to leave or not post as often. Are they trying to see how many ppl will beg them not to leave or to see how many friends they think they have. Seems like a big ego trip to me. People have busy lives, and if your posting slows down for awhile, so what? It's not the end of the world. And quite frankly, I bet not many would have noticed if it wasn't brought to their attention. If ppl really are curious they can always pm you. :D
