Legal hit by Bennett on McCoy w/ pic...

Not helmet to helmet, not dirty at all. That was a perfect, clean form tackle in my book & the refs' evidently too. Head up, leading with facemask, exploding with hips, & wrapping up.

I think Colt landing on elbow had more to do with his unjury than actual hit. Watch it again if you have it.

I don't remember anyone disputing that it wasn't a clean hit. It was the hit Heard put on where he could of "blocked" 2 texas players in front of him but he bypassed them and hit colt in the back while he was unbuckling his chin strap.

I read helmet to helmet several times on here but I don't remember the posters. Yes, Heard's was dirty & he should be reprimanded. No tolerance for that stuff.

Not trying to ruffle feathers (honest), but this pic clearly shows nothing illegal here on the hit. Just football & legal.

let the hit Heard round the world be a lesson to gelding mccoy, and to the youngsters out there who witnessed the smackdown...it is unfortunate that mccoy was injured, but the young man learned two lessons on that marvelous Friday...1)do not walk on the field, 2) and most importantly, do not unbuckle your gear on the field, especially before the second whistle.
