Truely some very awesome displays out there. There's one in Lumberton i'd like to go see when I have some spare time. May not be as good as the others in the state, but the only 'animated' christmas light show in our area that has been mentioned on the news.

my parents live down the street from a music-themed one in Allen, broadcasting their own radio signal so that passing cars could hear it. Is that the same thing here?

The T-S Orchestra is going to be in Dallas in a few weeks at the AAC. I wanted to go to the show but sadly I will be out of town! :(

Wasn't this used in a beer commercial last year?

No the Miller light commercial was with a different house.
.
BUT.... I'll have my house maybe close to this one next year! We're figuring out how to build a system to get a similar effect from scratch. We're 75% there!

A friend and I can make our lights do that for about $400 for the control system(computer controlled). I have over 4000 lights I've bought over several years so it can be done at hand. Now of course I won't be using as many as that guy did.:( :)
