**Kinda funny how all the different lists vary huh? Some guys go from 1st team to HM at times. I like the Coaches Team the best since they watch film & coach it everyday anyway.

I always thought the same thing g$$ about the coaches all big 12 team, but it's been said that some of them don't even do their own voting anymore. They simply pass it off to somone who has a little more time on their hands on the staff.

Yeah, you are right, just like Coaches Poll during the season. Pass it on to GAs & Football Ops guy usually.

I was looking at the 7-3A all district this morning and they have the following awards:

Co District MVP's
Offensive MVP
Defensive MVP
Utility MVP
Offensive Newcomer
Co Defensive Newcomer
Coach

They give out 9 "special" awards...and if you are named to any of the above you aren't listed on the 1st team all-district. So after naming a 1st and 2nd all-district squad you end up with 4 of the 5 QB's in the district being given an award. What a joke!

Agreed, I have been preaching this too. It is supposed to be an honor, not a medal for playing. I hate this trend of rewarding everyone on the team. Takes the prestige away.
