snow and ice and NO SCHOOL!!!!

You know you have a lot of snow and ice when Canyon closes their schools!! In Amarillo last night it was like a blizzard, where there were suppose to be 2 lanes of traffic there were 4, it was crazy. Still coming down with 20 to 30 winds and the temp is 16 with wind chill -15!!!!:eek:

it's almost that bad in Muleshoe, but only got about 3-4" snow. Has a layer of really slick ice underneath it; not safe to drive.

Tell those Eagles to practise in it, and get used to this cold; it isn't supposed to warm up very much by Saturday. Go EAGLES!

I spent one winter up in Pampa several years ago, so I know what you folks are going through up there. Notice I said ONE winter. I dont plan on making it 2, any time soon. :D
Yall stay safe, and try to keep warm up there. Heck it's not much better in Sweetwater & Abilene, and getting worse by the minute. It's really starting to come down out there now.

If Stratford is leaving in the afternoon, they probably won't have any trouble, they will probably have the roads cleared by then and I think the sun is suppose to be out tomorrow.

I can't figure out if we have school here at Tech or not. I'd like to just not go to class, but I've missed trig the past 2 times and I have a project due in my design class. Oh well, I guess I'll go. . .

I'm such a wuss. I got like 100 yards out the front door of my dorm and said screw this, I'm going back inside. I was only like an 1/8th of the way there too. It's okay though. I'll get to finish this project and make it look good.
