To answer your question, it is the perogative of each poster to remain anonymous if they choose to do so. That is the EXACT purpose behind a "screen name". To "out" someone without their permission isn't cool. That's why our rule #3 says "Avoid using people's real names in your posts".

If you don't care if people know who you are, that's fine, but you must respect other's wishes regarding their identity.
