if any team thinks they can hang with the hard hitting defense and the outstanding offense that the raymondville bearkats have... u got another thing coming. we have two qb's that can rip ur defense apart on the ground or in the air. and thats not all we have: we got more surprises for ya! and if ya'll think were just talking smack evrybody will see what we're all about this weekend. Hard hitting defense? The only thing I remember seeing the Raymondville defense hitting last season was the ground after Port Isabel's offense ran all over you. LOL.....

But I do agree QB Tommy Wolfe is a good athlete, but I think you're giving him too much credit.

Football is a TEAM effort, you can't rely on just a few players to come from being ranked at around 150 to going undefeated and not having a single team even come close to beating you.

Not being rude or anything. But I believe this is the first time I have even heard of Raymondville!!Raymondville is in district 32-3A, with Port Isabel. It is located in Willacy County on Highway 77, about 25 miles or so north of Harlingen, TX.

Lyford, who is also in 32-3A is just a few miles south of Raymondville.

I remember the week we played Raymondville in the '98 playoffs...

They had just dropped down from 4A and were now going to play us in the 3rd round...

I remember our newspaper interviewed their HC... He talked about how good his QB and offense was and that his defense was great and all... He also had the nerve to say 'It's time to show these 3A guys who the big dogs are'...

I also remember seeing the cars of Ramondville fans and signs on their side of the stadium saying 'What in the heck is a Gobbler'... It was funny...

I remember when Coach Stump went down there for the first time during offseason and came back for graduation and project graduation etc... and some of us asked him how he liked it and he just said he loved how the water looked... Never beenm to South Padre myself, always went to Port A and Corpus for my Padre adventures, almost went the last three summers but work etc... got in the way...

We had heard so much tooting, along the way, from everyone, that by the time the State Championship game arrived, they were all tooted out and we were still playing!!! So...moral of the story is...
