Most Texas fans realized this earlier on in the season, especially Greg Davis' bad playcalling.

I think this is the story that was trying to be posted. Pretty good article. I wanted to wait the whole season to see if Greg Davis had gotten any better as a coordinator than what he was before the incredible run Vince lead the Longhorns on for the better part of two years. I learned Greg Davis is as bad a playcaller as ever. Not that any Longhorn fan didn't already know this, but Vince was so darn good that he could cover up how bad Davis was at calling plays.

Funny when Texas score a ton of points it is the players doing it...When Texas cant score it is all Davis...I am not a huge fan of him, but the guy has done some amazing things at Texas

Most people were complaining about the play calling well before the KSU/A&M losses.

my point exactly..He has always had a target on his back..Again somethings he did during the OU-Texas 5 year losing streak angered me, but look at the overall picture, he has revamped his offense three times to fit the QB, his teams have put up MAD numbers and scoring. All I am saying is he deserves SOME credit for the offensive sucess Texas has had since the Brown era has begun

I think that most of the success goes to Brown as he is a very good recruiter. For the most part Texas seems to have a bunch of players who don't live up to the hype. Tech would be national champion year after year if they could recruit the quality players Texas gets.
