I support the Steers all the way, but I picked Cuero b/c I said it at the beginning of the season, this is their year.

You may be correct. But several of these teams could make a cinderella run at the title. Ask Cuero about that in 2004.
It would be no suprise for any of those expected teams to win it all. But can you imagine the outcome if the impossible happens?

Celina becomes the first school in Texas history to win back to back state championships with a move up to a new division. Or at least they have a very good chance. Using the massey ratings Celina's power (52), Giddings (46), Liberty Hill (46), Wimberley (44), Cuero (39), Hondo (36), and LaVega (34). But looking at the playoff results last week - It was only right 75% of the time. Oh well, my hopes are still high.

I choose Celina because I think they have what it takes to do it. Will they? Remains to be seen. The way they manhandled Dallas Madison and with what they did to Robinson and Pilot Point, you have to believe. They could play a bad game but I doubt they will. It seems when they get this close they go get the ring. They will be well prepared on that you can bank! :D

I will not try to make a bold prediction that LH will win state, but it's sort of ridiculous that they are not in the poll.
